"IT ALL STARTS WITH AN IDEA"
Friday March 27th to Friday April 3rd 2026
Duration: Week-long, jam-packed with hands-on creative projects!
Time: 8:30am-4:00pm daily
COST:
Day Rate: $120/day ( drop-ins welcomed )
Discount for 6 Day Camp Session Cost $575 for the week.
Objectives: Each day we will focus on a different sport and come up with a way to turn it into art. Forget the scoreboards! This project is all about turning action and sports gear into awesome art. Our mission is to brainstorm the coolest, wildest ways to transform its vibe, motion, energy, or equipment into a piece of art. Think visual arts, performance, weird sculptures—whatever gets us excited. Let's make some masterpieces out of the mundane!
Activities:
We'll decide together which art form is the best fit for capturing the feel of the day's sport.
We could try:
Visual Arts: Painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media setups. For example: Using the pattern of a diver's splash to make a giant abstract painting.
Performance: Dance, experimental theater, and movement-based works. For example: Creating a dance piece based on the precise steps and space management of a chess game or a boxing match.
Sculpture: Making 3D pieces with old sports gear or materials that capture the sport's physics. For example: Building a moving sculpture that copies the spin of a discus throw.
Conceptual Art: Focusing on the big ideas and philosophies behind the sport, like what it means to endure, fail, be perfect, or work as a team.
This project aims to connect the drive to play sports with the pursuit of beauty and ideas (art), resulting in a collection of one-of-a-kind artworks that show how much art is already in the world of sports.

T-Shirt & Swag Factory: Become a printing wizard! We'll learn to make stencils (screens) to print our own custom cards, super cool t-shirts, and fun book bags to take home.
Giant Wall Painting Crew: Learn how to draw small and then make it BIG! We'll use grids and projectors to help us create a large-scale painting together, like a giant colorful team poster!
Community Art Quest: Let's design and plan a cool, colorful piece of art for the community, thinking about where it goes, how people can interact with it, and what message it sends to the neighborhood.

Description: Prepare for a week of thrilling and messy scientific exploration! The "Mixtures and Mayhem" session is designed for young chemists and mad scientists who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Over five action-packed days, participants will dive into the fascinating world of physical and chemical reactions.
Activities: Activities will include crafting the perfect batch of various types of slime, investigating the principles behind classic chemical reactions like the erupting model volcano, and experimenting with colorful and often surprising mixtures. We'll explore and even concoct our own safe, bubbling brews. This session emphasizes hands-on learning, observation skills, and understanding the science behind the fun. Expect a combination of structured experiments and creative, self-guided exploration—all centered around the exciting chaos that is chemistry!
